On the tour, we will go to the Korgalzhyn state nature reserve. This Park is home to many rare species of animals, fish and birds. We will visit the «Bird’s Paradise» center, where you will learn about the inhabitants of the region. Then we will walk near the lakes Teniz and Korgalzhyn.
On the tour you will find:
— visit to the Korgalzhyn state nature reserve. The Park is located 130 km from the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. It is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. In the natural environment you will see cranes, herons, pelicans and other rare birds. Most of the territory of the reserve is covered with water or swamps.
— Teniz-Korgalzhyn lakes. Lake Teniz is unique because its water is saltier than the ocean. It serves as a natural protection from predators for the birds of the reserve. Another large lake is Korgalzhyn. It’s bland. This is the only lake in the Park where fish are found. Many of the species, such as carp and bream are listed in the Red book. You will walk along the lakes along the laid eco-routes. Most of the distance is covered by car. Contact with wildlife during the tour is prohibited.
— Bird’s Paradise center. Here you will learn about the rare inhabitants of the region and the red book. The center consists of three halls, a winter garden and a cinema hall. The center is the starting point for all excursions and eco — routes around the reserve.
— rafting on the Nura river. In your free time, you can go rafting on the Nura river, which flows into the Teniz. From the river you will see more wild animals and get a dose of adrenaline.
