Nursultan Nazarbayev international airport has received a certificate from the European Union.
The capital’s airport has completed the process of obtaining the RA-3 (Regulated Agebts Third country) certificate, which is a prerequisite for simplified organization of air cargo transportation to the territory of the European Union.
The certificate gives any airline the right to transport cargo to EU countries through the capital’s air Harbor without any restrictions in terms of aviation security. The RA-3 certificate also confirms that the cargo handling process in the cargo terminal of the capital’s airport fully complies with European safety standards for all types of cargo.
«The RA-3 status completely changes the picture: from this moment on, all air carriers will be able to automatically use the right to transport cargo to the EU countries, which allows any (including European) airlines to freely perform operations through the capital’s air gates, «said Gabit Tazhimuratov, Chairman of the Board of JSC» Nursultan Nazarbayev international airport».
Currently, the Nursultan Nazarbayev airport is the only one in Kazakhstan that has such a certificate.
